Acclaimed indie adventure, Firewatch is coming to Nintendo Switch this Spring.

Announced by developer Campo Santo, the Switch port doesn't appear to include any extra features, but there's a very nice picture of it being played next to some hiking boots, so that's something.

There's no more specific release date beyond 'Spring' at time of writing.

We awarded Firewatch a 9.3 review, saying it's "a game I can see coming back to every year or two just to revisit its beautiful sights and memorable characters – just like a good book." Now's our chance!

Indie games have been performing rather well in Switch's first year on the market, and Nintendo recently revealed the top 10 best sellers. Campo Santo will be hoping it can crack that line-up too.

Joe Skrebels is IGN's UK News Editor, and he's still amused by people who wanted Firewatch to be a horror game or something. Follow him on Twitter.
