The first Southeast Asian team to ever win a Dota2 Major event has disbanded.

Mineski, who carried the hopes of SEA during the previous TI released a Facebook post on their official page stating that Daryl ‘iceiceice’ Koh, Anucha ‘Jabz’ Jirawong & Michael ‘ninjaboogie’ Ross have left the team.

The Southeast Asian squad is now only made up of two Malaysians, Chai ‘Mushi’ Yee Fung & Kam ‘Moon’ Boon Seng. With TNC already announcing their roster, it will be a big question mark as to who will fill up the remaining slots of the team.

The team was understandably disappointed with their TI8 run as they only managed to finished 9th – 12th after losing to Virtus.Pro in the lower bracket of the tournament. However, the team showed huge strides when they won the Dota 2 Asia Championship, making them the first ever team from Southeast Asia to win a Dota 2 Major.

Mineski will always be a team that is a household name in competitive Dota for the region. Everyone will definitely be keeping a close eye on their squad to see who will be stepping in to fill the ranks of this legendary organization and partner up with Mushi & Moon.
