The Unity engine is the most widely used third-party game development software worldwide, and we at IGN Southeast Asia are proud to partner up with Unity to introduce "Made With Unity Spotlight". The objective of this new feature column is simple, which is to showcase outstanding Made With Unity games, explore hidden gems, as well as behind the scene stories featuring some of the best developers and artists in the gaming world.

A fish’s life can be predictable and dull, living in an aquarium or tank floating all day long without any form of entertainment except from the occasional mingling with fellow fishes. It's true that I am not a fish, but I believe I am not far from right.

With that in mind, let's put ourselves into the shoe of a fish, a lazy one at that. Where, a seemingly laid-back fish one day decided to embark on an adventure and escape the clutches of confinement. And that is pretty much the premise of Lazy Fish. But, wait a minute, how do you escape as a fish? You jump.

Lazy Fish is essentially an endless jumping game where you jump from aquarium to aquarium or even boxes and buckets, filled with water of course.

The gameplay is relatively simple to pick up, you can navigate the movement just by holding onto your screen and release, the longer you hold, the further you jump. The round ends when you drop on the floor flat.

You can earn coins by jumping on them and collecting them to purchase multiple outfits to suit up your fish with new looks, as well as bonuses that will improve your jumps. You can also pick up fish eggs from other fish tanks, where you can incubate and hatch them to raise your family of fishes to keep you company.

Made with the Unity Engine by Gameka, a Malaysian based game developer, the art style is adorable and pleasantly appealing. Paired with a familiar game mechanic, you've got a pretty addictive time-waster with Lazy Fish. Additionally, if you're into aquatic fashion, the game has more than 50 different character customization at your disposal. The game is now on early access and you can check it out here.

So, what are you waiting for? JUMP! Into the game now!

While you’re at it, also check out our Made with Unity Channel where we feature games and everything made with Unity!
