This weekend at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Marvel Studios revealed the films and shows of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, that isn't all as Marvel has the next five years, including Phase 5, already planned out.

As reported by Collider, MTV's Josh Horowitz spoke to Marvel head Kevin Feige following the SDCC panel and asked about what lies beyond Phase 4, which includes Thor: Love and Thunder, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and much more.

“We debated what we should announce today,” Feige said. “Should we announce 4 and 5? We’ve planned them out, we’ve got five years down the road and I was like, I think eleven projects in two years is plenty. Having not mentioned anything for two or three years.”

Feige also discussed how there will be no Avengers film in Phase 4 as this newest phase is all about "beginnings."

As for what Phase 5 will contain, it was revealed that Mahershala Ali's Blade project will not be in Phase 4, hinting that it should be in the next round of films and shows. In addition, Feige confirmed that Black Panther 2, Captain Marvel 2, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, and the introduction of the Fantastic Four to the MCU are all on their way.

We are also still waiting for the much anticipated introduction of the X-Men into the MCU following Disney's acquisition of Fox properties, but we don't know if they will be in Phase 5 or beyond, with Feige only briefly mentioning that there is "no time left to talk about mutants."

While the wait for Phase 5 may be tough, Phase 4, in addition to the above films, will also feature a ton of Disney+ series like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, What If...? and Hawkeye.
