WWE superstar Triple H is sending London Spitfire a custom championship belt after the team was crowed Overwatch League's first-ever champions earlier this year.

"After an exceptional resurgence, history was captured at the Overwatch League’s First Finals," Triple H wrote on Twitter. "Congrats Spitfire and Cloud9!" He added a message to Spitfire founder and CEO Jack Etienne, writing, "this custom title is coming to you!"

Triple H has been known to send out belts to successful sports teams in the past, from Premier League winners Manchester City to the Philadephia Eagles after their Super Bowl win, but this appears to be the first time he's done so for an eSports championship win.

The Overwatch League's roster has already grown from 12 to 20 teams for the 2019 season. Activision Blizzard recently announced six new cities — Chengdu, Hangzhou, Paris, Toronto, Vancouver, and Washington, D.C. — would be the homes of expansion teams next season. Prior to that, Atlanta and Guangzhou, China, were revealed as expansion cities.

As part of a multi-year deal, Overwatch League's 2019 season will be broadcast across ESPN, Disney, and ABC's networks.
