Samsung has unveiled a line of new Pokémon-themed earbuds and charging cases, and fans are able to get their hands own Galaxy Buds2 and Buds2 Pro cases modelled after prominent Generation I monsters: Snorlax, Ditto and Jigglypuff.

Called the Pokemon Pack, this limited-edition range has fans choosing between just buying the cases on their own or purchasing a pack that includes the Galaxy Buds2 or Buds2 Pro. These will go on sale in South Korea, with no international release announced as at the time of writing.

This line surprisingly takes a break from The Pokemon Company’s usual roster of first-generation Pokemon, which typically include the likes of Pikachu, Eevee and the starters Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.

The cases based on Jigglypuff and Snorlax feature each monster’s head, with the Galaxy earbuds sitting snugly within. What makes the Ditto edition much more enticing is how the case recreated Ditto’s entire body, making for the perfect replica of this fan-favourite breeder.

Samsung previously released a special-edition range of Pokemon-themed accessories for the Galaxy Z Flip4 5G, Galaxy Buds2 Pro, and Galaxy Watch5 Series. These accessories were released in Singapore, so perhaps there’s hope yet for fans looking to obtain these new Galaxy Buds2 cases.

The Pokemon Cover with Ring for the Galaxy Z Flip4 5G boasts four beloved pocket monsters and features a Poke Ball colour scheme. The Poke Ball Watch Strap for Galaxy Watch5 similarly incorporates this design aesthetic.

The highlight this previous line was the Poke Ball Cover for Galaxy Buds2 Pro, which looks just like a tiny version of the monster-catching device from the games and anime. Hopefully, we’ll see a dedicated Samsung version of the Rotom smartphone seen in more recent Pokemon games soon.
